Artist call for Sounds of the City Music Festival

I am an advisory board member at NJPAC ( New Jersey Performing arts center, in New Jersey). We are taking application for artists to play for "Sounds of the City Music Festival" from June to September 2006. If you know of anyone/talent, Big or Small, please refer he/she to me. We will make a deal.

Deadline to submit application is February 28, 2006.

1-Artist should play any kind of instrument

2-All singers are welcome

3-Small/Big bands are welcome

4-Good DJs are welcome

5-Good dancers or Dance troop are welcome

6-Any TALENT is welcome

Requirement:

1-You must send a professional kit with your bio, pictures, talents and past experiences if necessary.

2- You must record your talent on a Video or a cassette tape. The 1st 2 seconds must be your best, since the committee listens to the tape for 2 minutes then make a choice.

A) Last year we received more than 2000 applications less than 100 hundred were accepted

B) The committee has more than 20 members to view your project and vote.

C) If you are sending your Bio in private, please advise me so I could search for it and back you up.

D) Don't be shy, this could be lucky time.

If you are performing somewhere, please let us know. Some of us will come to see and hear you.

I hope this year we will have some Haitians, Caribbean descendant artists. Last year I ended up promoting an African Group.
