Urban Fashion Fest


Urban Fashion Fest™,
a celebration of community and creativity, is set to showcase leading fashion designers, makeup-artist, stylist, hair stylist and other fashion industry professionals; July 23rd and 24th
Over twenty-five A-liners™ are among designers of couture fashion, urban wear, and accessories that will be will showcased.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) July 15, 2005 – Rising to the challenge for youth involvement , entrepreneurship and community building, Underground Fashion Festival Production (UFFP) have organized the Urban Fashion Festival™, an event carded to take place at the Herbert Von King Arts and Cultural Center in the Central Brooklyn area. Apart from the fashion related components( fashion shows, seminars, fashion photography exhibits, fashion shoots and designers’ booths,) the two day event will accommodate activities for all members of the family Basketball and Double Dutch competitions, open mics and performances,

Behind the scenes hard at work @ the Underground Fashion Festival are Shanna Delk and Porcha Walker. This young duo have already established a track record of memorable fashion shows and showcases, lucrative ticket sales, profits in the thousands and new and exciting runway shows. They are embarking on a broader phase of their campaign targeted for and about and to urban audience, with a series of community based shows, showcases and small promotional parties both formal and informal; All needed to achieve success for micro-entrepreneurs. They have a first hand understanding of their constituents needs, having run Adore designs, a creative clothing line. The two are supported by a skilled team of professional and volunteers all with the same vision. Together the two partners are leaders, building a lasting impression for community fashion, and enterprise for others to follow!
UFF is sponsored by Jazzpazazz Preservation Society Inc, A non profit 501 c 3, charitable organization, whose chairperson Ms Alma Carroll was one of the community activist instrumental in securing the presence of such a facility with a vision of it’s use by future generations as represented by Ms Delk And Walker!
